Experienced IP based CCTV and Access Control Technician

We are looking for a responsible, bondable individual to provide installation, support and troubleshooting services to our private and government customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform all operational and administrative activities for the implementation of IT Networks, IP Camera Systems, IP Access Control Systems, IP Paging System and IP High Divination TV matrix systems (pre-wiring and hardware installation requires physical work in tight spaces as well on ladders).
- Administration and support of network based security and sound systems including hardware and software.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex network systems.
Qualifications
- University or college degree in Computer Science or Technology with a minimum of two years experience in network administration.
- Networking tasks: cabling; rack installation; switch port assignment; VLAN configuration; monitoring traffic flow & error logs for connectivity problems.
- Experience with firewalls: Access lists; VPN; static external IP assignments; monitoring firewall logs; and intrusion detection.
- Experience with the installation of CCTV and Access Control wiring
- Experience with IP cameras in a wired or wireless environment.
- Experience in sound system is not required but an asset
- Experience in handling power tools for various materials such as wood, drywall, metal and plastic.
